Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30, 1941) was the son of Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been married with Richard Herbert Cheney for over 30 years. At the age of 13 Richard and his family moved from Nebraska to Casper in the state of Casper where his father was the head of Casper's U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservation district.
