Noureen and Thora

Noureen was born in New York City on 28 February 1984. She was always interested in acting as an actress. As a student at Boston University School of the Arts, she began building the foundations for her profession. Noureen tried out for roles in various films shortly after graduating. She then got a role as the lead character in the 2005 film West Bank Story. West Bank Story was screened at other festival screenings around the world after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival 2005. It was also awarded the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film in the 2007 79th Oscars and assisted Noureen's professional career. Noureen played roles on several TV series, including Girlfriends Num3rs Chuck or Outsourced. She has also appeared in both minor and important roles in some of the most popular Hollywood films such as Ocean's Thirteen The Comebacks Ghosts of Girlfriends Past and The Back-up Plan. In the 1990s, she was a child star in movies like Alaska (1996) and Now and Then (1996). She came to prominence in 1999, after gaining worldwide attention and praise for her role on American Beauty. She then starred in Ghost World (2001), a film that was well-received and was awarded the Golden Globe nod.
