Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967 at Atlanta. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Early on, her father was interested in theatre. While a student at Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both in and outside of campus. He joined the Air Force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. In 1955, they got married and their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple were discharged from the air force and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter was hired to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of Bum Bum and His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning show for children, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
